Pickup trip to New River Cave on Tuesday, Dec 29, 2008. Pat Sims, Susan Burr, Alan Staton, Dave Socky, Mike Frazier, and Carl Cornett. We climbed up the waterfall and made it to Tuxedo Junction where it was determined that Susan was the only one that could fit throug. Down in the "Mud Room", we all went down the steep, slippery, muddy slope to the stream where it was concluded that, yes, the stream siphoned at both ends. It wasn't that hard to climb back up the mud slope. We couldn't find the Forest Room, but we did get to explore some nice large upper level rooms.
